लखनऊ, 13 मई । उत्तर प्रदेश के उपमुख्यमंत्री बृजेश पठक ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की अपील का पालन करते हुए राष्ट्रहित में अपनी फ्लीट की गाड़ियों को आधी करने का फैसला लिया है।
उन्होंने बुधवार काे कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने राष्ट्र के नागरिकों से जो अपील की है, उसका पूर्ण रूप से पालन किया जाएगा। उप मुख्यमंत्री ने अपनी फ्लीट की गाड़ियों की संख्या आधी करने के निर्देश जारी कर दिए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि राष्ट्रहित सर्वोपरि है। इससे ऊपर कुछ भी नहीं है। उन्होंने बताया कि प्रधानमंत्री ने देशवासियों से अपनी अपील में स्पष्ट किया है कि जहां तक संभव हो, वर्क फ्रॉम होम को प्राथमिकता दें। एक साल तक सोना खरीदने से बचें। पेट्रोल-डीजल की खपत कम करने के लिए मेट्रो से सफर करें। पार्सल रेल से भेजें और कार का कम इस्तेमाल करें। खाने के तेल का भी कम उपयोग करें। रासायनिक खाद का इस्तेमाल आधा करें और प्राकृतिक खेती की ओर बढ़ें। विदेशी ब्रांडेड उत्पादों का उपयोग कम करें और स्वदेशी को अपनाएं। एक साल तक विदेशों की यात्रा कम करें। तेल आयात पर खर्च होने वाली विदेशी मुद्रा बचाने का हम सभी को संकल्प लेना चाहिए।
उन्होंने कहा कि हफ्ते में एक दिन कारपूल करना हो या फिर बैटरी चलित वाहनों को अपनाना, आपका हर छोटा कदम देशहित में बड़ा योगदान है। गैस चूल्हे की जगह इंडक्शन का उपयोग और घर पर सोलर पैनल लगाना एक बेहतरीन शुरुआत हो सकती है।

Lucknow, May 13. Adhering to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has decided to halve the number of vehicles in his official fleet in the interest of the nation.
Speaking on Wednesday, he stated that the appeal made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the citizens of the nation would be followed in its entirety. The Deputy Chief Minister has issued directives to reduce the number of vehicles in his fleet by half. He emphasized that the national interest is paramount; nothing stands above it. He noted that, in his appeal to the countrymen, the Prime Minister clearly urged them to prioritize "Work from Home" wherever possible. He advised refraining from purchasing gold for one year; traveling by metro to reduce petrol and diesel consumption; sending parcels via rail; and minimizing the use of cars. He also suggested reducing the consumption of cooking oil, halving the use of chemical fertilizers to transition towards natural farming, and cutting down on foreign-branded products in favor of indigenous ones. Furthermore, he recommended minimizing foreign travel for a period of one year, urging everyone to resolve to save the foreign currency currently spent on oil imports.
He added that whether it involves carpooling one day a week or adopting battery-operated vehicles, every small step taken by you constitutes a significant contribution to the national interest. Switching from gas stoves to induction cooktops and installing solar panels at home could serve as an excellent starting point.
