Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Nandi said the above things while addressing the first torch relay ceremony of Chess Olympiad organized at Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad Park Allahabad Museum on Monday.

He said that about 24 to 25 crore people come and go after seeing Ganga, Yamuna, Saraswati on such holy earth in Kumbh. The work of encouraging the children of Uttar Pradesh towards sports is being done continuously by our Chief Minister.

On this occasion, President of Chess Olympiad, Sanjay Kapoor said in his address that it is a matter of pride to have Chess Olympiad in India. This time 147 countries are going to participate. It is a matter of pride for every citizen of India. He said that this torch relay will pass through 09 districts of Uttar Pradesh and India will give a message to the whole world. This relay torch will reach Chennai on July 27, passing through 75 cities of India.Where the Chess Olympiad will be held from July 28 to August 10, 2022. Will encourage the new generation children to play chess. Thereafter a video of the Prime Minister's address was shown. Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur also encouraged children to play in his address.

Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi welcomed Sanjay Kapoor, President, Chess Foundation. After the reception, a patriotic song was presented by the children of Nehru Yuva Kalyan. After the devotional song, Minister Nandi said in his address that the name of India has been illuminated in the whole world.My younger brother Sanjay Kapoor, Additional Advocate General of the State Government Mahesh Chaturvedi, Mayor Smt. On this occasion, the torch relay of the World Chess Olympiad was welcomed by the Culture Department by performing the famous Dhadiya and various folk dances of Allahabad. Cultural program The folk dance artists of Prayagraj captivated the audience.Dr. Sanjay Kapoor, President of All India Chess Federation honored the leader of Dhedhiya dance group Ms. Supriya Singh Rawat with a prize of Rs. 1000.
